Jaswinder Singh Bedi

Board Chairman
Jas a textile technologist graduate from UK in 1984 and has over 32 years’ experience in the manufacturing sector in Kenya.
He is a renowned industrialist in the country, a leading exporter, international trade negotiator and operative. Bedi was previously the chairman of the Kenya Association of Manufacturers and the African Cotton & Textile Industries Federation. He is also the managing director of Bedi Investments, executive director of Fine Spinners, vice president of International Textile Manufacturers Federation, vice chairman of the East African Business Council and the governor of Kenya Private Sector Alliance.
His experience spans many years and he has been instrumental in establishing a credible textile VISA system, a requisite that has ensured Kenya’s continuous eligibility under the African Growth and Opportunity Act

Flora Mutahi

Board Member

Flora Mutahi is an entrepreneur and corporate executive. She is chairperson of the Kenya Association of Manufacturers. She is also the founder and chief executive officer of Melvin Marsh International Limited the manufacturer of Melvin's Tea, a Kenyan brand She has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and finance, obtained from the United States International University. She also has an Executive Master of Business Administration, awarded by the University of Cape Town in South Africa. She is a Certified Public Accountant.

Mr. Peter Kibet Biwott

Mr. Peter Kibet Biwott is the Chief Executive of the Export Promotion Council. Mr. Biwott, a Development Economist, brings a wealth of experience, working in senior positions with key public and private sector organizations in the area of international trade and investment. The organizations include Kenya Institute of Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA), Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Kenya Association of Manufacturers. His last posting was Head of Policy, Research & Advocacy at the Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM).
